M4 Sciences is a nascent West
Lafayette-based company that specializes designing
and developing new technologies and systems for ultra-precision
machining. M4
Sciences’ technical
expertise and business experience will help accelerate
Indiana to the forefront of the rapidly expanding micro/meso
mechanical manufacturing (M4) industry.
The company
is currently funded through several sources including
an STTR Award from the National Science Foundation
(NSF) and additional grants through the State of Indiana.
These funds are enabling M4 Sciences to introduce innovative
machining technologies to industrial applications in
the biomedical, automotive, aerospace, and electronics
markets.
