M4 Sciences is a designer and developer of advanced technologies for ultra-precision machining.
Our company is commercializing a range of devices based on an innovative and patent pending technology – modulation assisted machining. Modulation assisted machining, also known as MAM, is a platform technology with applications ranging from deep hole drilling, boring and turning to cut-off and trepanning. M4 Sciences’ first product is TriboMAM™ which is specifically designed for centerline drilling applications in compact lathe and Swiss-type CNC lathes.
M4 Sciences is currently funded through several sources including a private placement, an STTR Award from the National Science Foundation (NSF IIP-0822879), and a State of Indiana 21st Century Research & Technology Fund Award.
